What Money Can't Buy

What Money Can't Buy

Many nonprofit leaders will tell you with a straight face that their number one need is money.? More of it.? Whey they say this—and even worse—believe it, they unwittingly consign themselves to not having enough.?Money, that is.

There are billions—yes billions—of dollars that could be had by these organizations if they adopted a different mindset.

Fundamentally different.

Instead of your “needs”, think of the philanthropist investor’s dreams and desires.

Come to the realization that you are not the driver in this equation because of your good deeds but rather the facilitator of another’s dreams.

Principle 1 of The Eight Principles is Donors are the Drivers? .?Donors drive the philanthropic enterprise.

For investors it's not about the money, however.?It’s not a transaction for them—unless you make it one.

When you engage a philanthropic investor think of the experience you’re offering them.?Non material. Non tangible.

The donor “experience” is the sum of every interaction you have with you them.?If you make it a wham-bam transaction, they’ll respond in kind.?A one-off investment of minimal size.

“Minimal” is a relative term.?Relative to the investor.

When you’re creating experiences for your investors that they cannot buy—even better can’t get elsewhere--two things reliably happen.

First, your investors will make another investment.?Usually a bit larger in size than the first one

Second, their attachment to your organization grows.

If you continue to create meaningful experiences, investors’ investments will change in character.?Going from straight cash to wealth (read “asset”). When this happens the blue sky opens.

Your problem then becomes how to deal with the blessing of riches.

That’s a whole new game.

So, you say, how do you get to this fundraising nirvana?

It’s really quite simple.

First get over yourself and embrace your investors as equals in your enterprise realizing that accomplishing your worthy goals requires a partnership.

Second, work to build a culture of philanthropy within your organization.?An environment where EVERYONE in your organization understands and lives this partnership.

This is where The Eight Principles? comes in.?Instilling The Eight Principles in your organization by belief and practice puts your fundraising program—and philanthropic revenue—on overdrive.

Think 4X to 6X.?Permanently.?

Read that again.

We have unique training programs which implant the organizational culture you’re seeking in record time.

Our train-the-trainer, continuous learning training platform puts this culture inside your organization in record time.

That’s because the right skill set flows from the right mindset.?Not the other way around.

Simple enough for the never-fundraise person.?Sophisticated enough for the 20 year veteran.

Take a look at this brief video:

What does the video tell you??Can you identify with it?

What confounds me is why so many involved in raising funds for worthy organizations and causes, continue to chase the latest cool technique or method—regardless of whether it’s the right approach for them.

They think that because something worked elsewhere, it will work for them.

WRONG!?

Repeat after me: “Principles ARE universal.?Methods ARE NOT.”

Success depends on internalizing the principles then choosing the methods which are right for YOU.

Helping organizations create that magic is what drives us here at The Eight Principles.

Are you REALLY ready to stop bottom feeding??Stop struggling to get the next gift, the next grant, just to keep going??Even if you’re not on the “edge” wouldn’t you like to enjoy the abundance that is available to you?

Allow me to show you how. Schedule a call with me and we’ll talk. ?It’s complimentary.?There’s no obligation. ?In thirty minutes or less, I will give you a path to deliver that magic.?

I’d love to speak with you.?Grab a time now.

The best part??It doesn’t take buckets of money to achieve your goals.?It does take desire and will.?

To Everyone:?My goal is simple.?To show all who really want it the clear, proven path to abundance. I look forward to learning more about your goals and dreams.
