In yesterday’s article, we touched on mindfulness as a potent character in mentally healthy and stable folks, and I figured we should delve into what mindfulness is.
We often hear the sayings, Be mindful, or Practice mindfulness, but what does it mean to be conscious?
What does it mean to you to practice mindfulness or be mindful?
Personally, I associate mindfulness with meditation and yoga, but I have barely defined the term for myself to begin with.
Mindfulness is living in the moment: A deliberate lifestyle where all choices focus on achieving a specific goal.
Mindfulness is letting go of the past without hard or angry feelings toward any unpleasant encounters faced.
The aim of being mindful is to establish a mind, body, and soul coherence to work in the present to draw in our holistic desired future and shape our reality.
Practicing mindfulness is enjoying and savoring every minute of the present circumstance with an optimistic expectation of a bigger and better future.
Mindfulness is one of the most challenging mental states for a human, seeing that we are hoarders of past experiences: we love comparing moments lived.
Being mindful involves accepting that every past encounter, whether hurtful or joyous, happened for you to bring you to that present position.
