What is mind clutter? ….Declutter Your Mind !

?Ever feel like your brain is on overload?

Like you can’t think clearly or make decisions easily?

Stuck in circles going nowhere?

If so, you might be dealing with a serious case of mental clutter.

What exactly is mental clutter?

Well, my friend, mental clutter is when you have so many ideas and thoughts floating around in your head that you have trouble thinking clearly and making decisions.

?

There’s just so much to do and not enough time to make it happen.

The trouble is that we often perceive things as worse than they are because we keep thinking about them instead of taking action to solve our problems.

Life is not the same for everyone, and it presents challenges and opportunities for each individual...

When this happens, you know it’s time for a little mental detox.

Just as we?declutter our homes and physical spaces, it’s also important to declutter your mind.

Clutter isn’t just about the physical stuff in your home, it can also build up in our minds.

When you walk into a room full of physical clutter – scattered papers, piles of clothes, old wires and cables – it’s clear to you that the room is cluttered. But our minds can become just as messy and cluttered.

Thank you?….When we free up some headspace, we’re able to feel calmer, think more clearly, and stay focused on our next move (whether it’s a life-changing decision or a small to-do list item).

In this post, I’m sharing ideas to help you deal with mental clutter, reduce decision fatigue, and give yourself some headspace!

If you’re anything like me, you tend to?get overwhelmed?on a daily basis.

There’s just so much to do and not enough time to make it happen.

The trouble is that we often perceive things as worse than they are because we keep thinking about them instead of taking action to solve our problems. When this happens, you know it’s time for a little mental detox.

Do you want to add a word or two ?

In this post, I’m sharing ideas to help you deal with mental clutter, reduce decision fatigue, and give yourself some headspace!

Get clear on your priorities

Reduce decision fatigue by getting clear on what’s important to you. Maybe it’s family, friends, and work. Maybe it’s?self-care, creativity, and comfort.

We need to remember what’s important in life: friends, waffles, work. Or waffles, friends, work. Doesn’t matter, but work is third.

Whatever your priorities are, use them to help you make decisions and?eliminate the mental clutter that comes from trying to decide what to focus on.

If it isn’t a clear yes, it’s a clear no.

This may seem like a ruthless way to make decisions, especially since eliminating all of the ‘maybes’ from our lives might actually limit our opportunities.

But if you are someone who spends way too much time trying to make decisions, try listening to whether your intuition is telling you if something is a yes or a no.

For example, try this method when you’re deciding whether to keep an item of clothing, buying something new, or accepting an invitation to an event.

Let’s say that your beautiful, amazing brain is filled to the brim with ideas. You have SO many ideas and thoughts and dreams that you don’t know what to do with them.

They’re overwhelming you more than helping you. What can you do to make sure you save all of that goodness but still make room for some headspace?

?

?Start by creating a system for storing your ideas.

The next time an idea pops into your head, save it to your dedicated place right away.

Because of the amount of time we spend online, we end up consuming a lot of new information on a daily basis.

Some of it is useful, but a lot of it simply clutters our brains with unnecessary details. Of course it’s important to constantly learn new things, but it’s more important to put that information to good use.

?

If you learn something new, avoid letting it clutter up your brain by telling someone about it, writing about it in a blog post or journal, or storing it in your ideas folder.

?

Our mental health can be triggered by various things but ever thought about how clutter affects mental health?

Well, do you have dishes in the sink, mounds of dirty laundry piled up, closets in disorder, too much garbage in the garage, or an overwhelming number of unwanted things scattered about the house?

And are you getting little done because of living in clutter and the distractions it creates?

Does it make you become annoyed when things aren’t in their right place?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you need to know why clutter is bad for you and how living in such conditions is unhealthy.

There are many reasons why clutter affects mental health and your sense of well-being.

Let’s take a closer look at why and how you need to declutter your life.

Your comments ……

But before we get into the effects of living in an untidy house let’s learn more about the different types of clutter you may possess and how clutter affects your mental health.

Clearing your mental clutter isn’t as simple as eliminating a possession. You can’t “throw away” a thought and expect it to stay gone.

Why We Think Negative Thoughts now, imagine your mind as a fully organized home—a home that’s free from extraneous, draining, and useless items that agitate you.

What if you could surround yourself only with thoughts that uplift, inspire, and soothe you?

Consider for a moment your mind as a peaceful cloudless sky, and you have the power to choose what floats across.

?If that cloudless mental sky is so desirable, then why do we think so much, with so few filters to sort the positive and necessary thoughts from the random and unnecessary? Are we destined to be victims of our “monkey minds” at all times? Must we constantly battle our thoughts and allow them to drag us down with worry, regret, and anxiety? Is there a way to have a clear mind, free of negativity and pain? Some decisions are made quickly, while there are others that involve a lot of deliberation. Then there are those that can’t be altered, as compared to ones that can be revoked. The types of decisions differ according to the situation.
