What It Means to be EPIC

In recent months, EPIC has become a way of life at Trans-Trade. It has shaped our company culture and connected our employees. It guides how we communicate, how we act and the level of service we provide our clients.
But what exactly is EPIC, and what does it mean to Trans-Trade and its customers?
Empowerment. Having the information, resources, opportunity and responsibility to make decisions and gain greater job satisfaction. Trans-Trade employees are empowered to make the decisions necessary to take care of our clients and to solve their supply chain challenges. We are empowered to share ideas that will improve our company processes and lead to better service.
Professionalism. Adherence to courtesy, honesty and responsibility when dealing with individuals and other companies. Trans-Trade employees are responsible, reliable and accountable. Professionalism is evidenced in the quality of our work, in our attire, in the cleanliness of our environment and in our internal and external communication.
Integrity. Doing the right thing when nobody is watching. In my opinion, this is the most critical core value. Integrity is essential to Empowerment, because Empowerment means we trust each other to make decisions and exercise good judgment. Integrity is also a critical component of Professionalism, a core value that requires honesty and courtesy. And Community is built on trust and respect, which cannot exist without integrity.
Community. A feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of having common attitudes, interests and goals. Trans-Trade employees share the same goals: To serve our clients to the best of our abilities, to add value to clients’ supply chains and to grow our business. Community at Trans-Trade means working as a team to achieve these common goals and to have some fun doing it! We treat clients like family and we do all that we can to support them.
By adhering to this set of companywide core values and providing exceptional customer service, Trans-Trade has had continued success in building trust and establishing long-term relationships with customers. We live and breathe EPIC, and even though our tagline is new, it says what we’ve been doing all along: Delivering EPIC Results.
