What Matters Most to You This Season?

What Matters Most to You This Season?

The holidays are a time for joy— to reflect on what matters most to you and celebrate the past year.

For me, it is my people. My connections with my family and friends are the most important to me. Being present to experience the little moments is what I will remember most, and I want to make the time to make those memories.

As a recovering workaholic, this is a really hard lesson I have had to learn.

I used to work every day of the holidays—on mornings before anyone got up or in the car, I was always making time for my work. But in doing that, I wasn’t there for what really mattered most to me—my family.?

In the end, my family and friends are what I have. I want to remember the moments of connecting with them, celebrating, laughing, and growing our relationships.

I want the same for you.?

This is your holiday season—enjoy it your way.?

In the downtime that comes with the holidays, the calling for personal events and festivities can become more, and it can be overwhelming.

Take the time to reflect on what and who means the most to you, and prioritize those moments.?

In knowing what’s important to you, you are giving yourself exactly what you need in the season and enjoying it your way.?

Take inventory of what matters most to you and be present in allowing yourself to experience those moments. That is what your people will remember.

I think for me it's making sure that I'm aligned with where the 'holiday energy' is being spent. So many times we try to be 'all the places' because it's on someone else's agenda.
