Collagen Elixir
Why the big buzz??
What is collagen?
Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body, accounting for about 1/3 of its protein composition.
It’s one of the major building blocks of bones, skin, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Collagen is also found in many other body parts, including blood vessels, corneas, and teeth.
You can think of it as the “glue” that holds all these things together.
Collagen word comes from the Greek word “kólla,” which means glue.
Our bodies are amazing miracles and you can AID your body with our new collagen!
Embracing the aging process, and aging gracefully, (men & women), means giving your body the internal love and support it needs, and benefits from, naturally.
So why would a collagen elixir have a place in our arsenal of nutritional supplements??
Because our dermis layer of our skin is over 70% collagen!!
We really rely on our collagen production.
We have an abundant supply of this collagen when we are born. Our baby skin is plump, smooth and rosy in color--thanks to all the collagen Type I & III in the dermis.
The bad news is, our body stops producing collagen around our mid-to-late 20s. Even worse, just when we embrace our 30s, our collagen begins to drop 1-2% every year. By age 40, we have lost 10-20% of our collagen. By 50, we are down 20-40%. By the time we hit 60…you get the picture. The result of collagen loss is aging skin. Fine lines. Wrinkles. Loss of elasticity, firmness, and hydration.
Some will opt for Botox or a dermal filler. Or many rely on traditional face creams, serums or other topical treatments. However, all of these traditional options only 'treat the symptoms' of the problem…none address the 'root cause of your aging skin': loss of collagen.
Replenishing your body’s lost collagen is the best defense against this relentless decline and aging process. When a high dose of Type I & III collagen enters your bloodstream, it triggers what is called the wound repair response. Basically, your body detects the high level of collagen and assumes you have a wound that needs fixing. The collagen is routed to areas in your body where you have damaged or depleted collagen. In the dermis layer of your skin, this surge of collagen re-activates specialized cells called fibroblasts to produce new collagen.
YOUR BODY THEN HEALS ITSELF FROM WITHIN.
Clinical studies also showed a daily dose of high concentration hydrolyzed collagen can increase skin dermis density and decrease in deep wrinkles. Study participants also reported improvements in skin elasticity, hydration and radiance.
This collagen is different than any other on the market.
