The Gamesindustry.biz Best Places To Work Awards took place this week, highlighting the studios and associated games companies who are demonstrating a commitment to creating outstanding workplace cultures. So, as well as celebrating those brilliant companies, I thought this week I’d look at what the experts in the wider world think makes a great place to work…
US News asks exactly that question – and offers five qualities that make a company great. They are: Promotes a Culture of Psychologic Safety; Supports Your Career Growth; Provides Feedback; Strives For a Talent-Task Match; and Values Employees. The article also provides guidance on how to assess a company’s culture and highlights the red flags to look out for.
