1. The skill first & most important is Listening. No Great #cmo will come into your business and know everything about it and what to do right away. They will ask questions, listen, come up with a #strategy and implement it. They need the guts to try new technologies & strategies to get their company's #branding message out there!
2. It is a #creative process that takes numerous skills into consideration. It includes having vision, being skilled with people, knowing social media, digital, video, graphic design, Seo, word of mouth campaigns, PPC, DTC, B2B, Sales, Strategies, etc.
3. The CMO is like a Project Manager in that they oversee everything to make sure your company is visible to it's targeted audience with the company's message.
4. I studied Marketing in college. I continue to try, create and implement new ways to achieve my goals everyday! It will always be an ongoing process. I enjoy learning new cutting edge technologies! My advice is always be Creative and keep on learning!
