When it comes to being a leader, you don't want to be a good leader, you should strive to be a great one.
?Before I jump into answering this question, I'd suggest first to make sure you truly understand what the word means.
"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader."
?
Being a good or great leader is no longer about you. It is about the people you are leading.
?Becoming a leader is not easy. Maintaining a good one is even harder. But, it is manageable as long as you keep your team members and their needs in mind.

1. Get to know your team
Knowing your team, and knowing the personality of every single one of the members is crucial. It will allow you to effectively manage them in the sectors they are all?individually?good at. That way the problems will be easily solved, and everyone will have their tasks according to their specialties. Also, never fail to listen to them. Sometimes even force them to suggest, and then act accordingly. They are knowing your team and what they prefer and like, will most certainly bring you closer to success.
2. Push your team members
The difference between bosses and leaders is that bosses force their employees because they need to. Leaders force their team members because they want to. Push your team as far as you believe they can go. Let them articulate their belief.?Inspire?them not to be afraid to try and to fail. Make sure they have your support even if they don't succeed because that's the only way they are ever going to try.?Help people?find their purpose, push to the limits, and never stop believing in their hearts.
3. Make sure you motivate the others
?People who lead by force, are not good leaders. You should never strive to be followed because people are forced to, but because they want to. Make sure to motivate people wherever you go.?Encourage?them to be the best versions of themselves. Give them a good example and let them be led by it. Motivate people and employees into being brave about their decision-making, as in both, life and work.?Focus on others?and how much you can improve their lives, instead of them improving yours. Because it follows. The more you give, the more you get.
