What makes a 'good'? customer?

What makes a 'good' customer?

Not all clients are good clients and I don’t think there is a single one of us that haven’t experienced that ‘remind me again of why we are working with this client’ moment.

For us to do what we do to our best abilities I would argue that we need to feel a kindness and respect from our clients combined with a sense of loyalty and trust so that a mutual appreciation exists – simply put, is there a human connection. Moreover, I would also suggest that there are several characteristics that will help to define what a good client is:

1.??????????Loyalty: They consistently choose to do business with us and are unlikely to switch to competitors.

2.??????????High lifetime value: They make multiple purchases and are willing to pay premium prices for our products or services.

3.??????????Positive referral: They refer others to us and help to generate new business.

4.??????????Active engagement: They are engaged, providing feedback and suggestions for our improvement.

5.??????????Good communication: They communicate clearly and effectively, providing relevant information and expressing their needs and preferences.

6.??????????Receptive to marketing: They respond positively to marketing efforts and are open to learning about new products or services.

7.??????????Responsiveness: They are prompt in paying bills and timely in responding to inquiries or requests for information.

8.??????????Compliance: They follow rules and regulations, and comply with the terms and conditions of doing business with us.

It's important to note that a good customer is not just someone who spends a lot of money, but someone who willingly contributes to our growth and success in multiple ways.

Just a thought…
