What Makes Full Spectrum Education Different?
I began Full Spectrum Education four years ago as Full Spectrum Tutoring and it was as simple as it sounds – a tutoring company. Now, we are a whole new beast and completely different to any other “tutoring” companies you might see floating around.
But why is that the case? Well, I’m glad you asked!
We never wanted to be just another run of the mill tutoring agency. In fact, we are not an agency at all. We are an education company, a network of qualified educators, all working together to support each other as we help students across Australia reach their learning goals.
As we come to the home (and have online capacity as per COVID-19 guidelines), we are a more intimate version of a traditional schooling experience. By forward and backward mapping the curriculum, we are able to be a bespoke school in the home, individualising all learning plans to meet the exact, unique needs of any child that comes on board.
In a nutshell, what makes us different is everything about us. From our passion to our expertise, to our model of 2 hours a week in sessions plus homework. From our incredible team of dedicated educators to our learning system that targets not just academia but cognitive, social, emotional function as well as organisational, homework, assessment and study skills.

As a Head of Department for the Department of Education in Queensland, I knew that if FSE was ever going to be successful, it was all about the way we went about it. We couldn’t be what everyone else was, because that created a gap in the market. People don’t need another university student coming in once a week to do the student’s assignment for them. What they need is to fill in the gaps of the curriculum, to build confidence and a wide variety of skills.
