Recent few years, we have been hearing a lot about Quick Closing Check Valves. There is an insane amount of Demand on North-African Valve Market for Quick Closing Check Valves. To understand this, first we need to understand what is the use of this Non-Return Valve.
The main purpose of the EKO5700 Quick Closing Check Valve is to simply protect the pumps from flow inversion. Yes, sounds like any other kind of Non-Return Valves right ? Why not use a Tilting Check Valve instead?
Whenever a pump swithed-off, most of the time the pump station system only have half a second before the reverse flow occurs. And sometimes, even shorter time (1/50 of a Second).
If your check valves does not respond quick enough, you'll have problems with the top management. Have you seen the pump prices recently !? No-one wants their Pumps or Valves to get seriously damaged.
