There's no simple way to describe the ADHD brain in comparison to a neurotypical brain. But if you wanted to sum it up succinctly, you could say that an ADHD brain is "wired" differently. Understanding those differences is helpful in understanding why people with ADHD experience certain symptoms or exhibit certain behaviors.
