What links NASA, Bear Grylls, Pudsey Bear and £115million?

ANSWER:  World Extreme Medicine...

Not content to push the boundaries of what is possible in remote medicine and develope a new medical sub-discipline of 'Extreme Medicine' WEM has been working hard recently supporting Bear Grylls and Amazon Prime keep racers on the world's toughest adventure race the 'EcoChallenge' safe.

We have also been working closely with NASA to present new research and present plans for the future of Space Exploration at the WEM Conference

Whilst we have been busy running medical training courses at Everest Base Camp, the Costa Rican Jungle and in the Arctic time has also been found to support the BBC Children in Need annual Rickshaw Challenges and a host of other charities raise over £115,000,000!

2019 also saw the pioneering graduates of the world's first International Diploma & MSc program in Extreme Medicine run in partnership with the University of Exeter proudly graduating.

As we enter the new decade our focus turns to what we can do to further push the boundaries of what is possible in remote medicine to help save more lives, ameliorate life-altering injuries and help clinicians combine global contribution with their medical careers.
