What is line interactive ups?

Line interactive technology sits between offline and online. It is inbuilt AVR( Automatic voltage regulator) to boost and buck when overvoltage or disvoltage to maintain the stable power to equipment. With input 140-300VAC wide range voltage, the wider voltage the more comprehensive your protection will be.

Line Interactive UPSs have 4-6 milliseconds of power interruption when transitioning to battery backup and protect against the most common power problems encountered in the network.

Here, the UPS also monitors voltage levels and balances undervoltage and overvoltage.

For a line interactive UPS, the inverter becomes part of the output and is always on. The inverter can work in reverse to charge the battery when the AC input is normal, and switch to the battery to supply power when the main power fails, playing the role of filtering and voltage stabilization.

When the AC input power fails, the UPS's transfer switch opens and power flows from the battery to the UPS output.
