Introduction: When I think of liberation, a quote from Nelson Mandela comes to my mind- "There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires." The people of Bangladesh also gave their lives at different times in the struggle for independence. The liberation war of 1971 is the utmost incident in our national life. Actual independence was achieved after overcoming the path to freedom step by since the language movement. Have we acquired the dream for which the whole nation jumped to liberation war? Severe discrimination existing in our society makes us feel pain and a pang of consistency.?
?Liberation means to me: In a word, liberation means to me, "Ensuring the rights of me and also the other people around me." In broad, liberation means to me to ensure the rights of a student and teacher, the rights of an artist or a writer, the rights of a religious person, the rights of a daily worker and a woman, rights of the news media staff. Above all, if the rights of every citizen including the orphans, the transgender, the disabled, the aged, and the children are guaranteed, I will be able to take the pure taste of liberation.??
???????Liberation means to me when I think of myself as an Independent citizen: Liberation means flying like a free bird, the joy of independence, the freedom that will give the strength to speak livelily. Liberation means rights and justice, freedom from subjugation. I will laugh and upset again whenever I want. It means living with security and respect. Trusting the people around me, I will express my mind to them. If the mind is not free, then what is freedom??

???????When I think of myself as an Artist or a Writer: In my city, I would go out at night with a guitar and sing freely. I will not be a victim of harassment, there will be no fear. As a writer, I should allow writing freely. I will write about injustice, rebellious poems, religious and other issues independently.?

???????When I think of myself as a Day Labor or a Farmer: Fair wages and fair price for crops the meaning of liberation to me. Assuring a risk-free work environment, eight hours of working time, and nondiscrimination behavior. Stop child labor and labor abuse. Poverty-free, hunger-free, and self-reliance make freedom for me.??
???????When I think of myself as a Woman: As an independent woman, I would always like to move freely. Why do I always come to high school or college with my parents, why should others worry about me, why I've got to tolerate harassment at the workplace, why do I've got to endure the torture of my husband for not having the ability to pay the dowry? Is it because I’m a woman? Freedom from violence, rape, and discrimination against women will give me a taste of liberation.?
???????When I think of myself as a student: Liberation means freedom to study, and rigid study is meaningless. I want to study what I do on my own, which most students’ families do not want to accept. Rather the condition of being a doctor or an engineer is imposed which is a violation of independence. I want all opportunities to make myself efficient and self-reliant through proper education.?
Conclusion: Above all, liberation is the name of ensuring the rights of people from all walks of life. When these people around me can be good, I can be good too. When these people enjoy the taste of liberation I will enjoy it too. Millions of brave freedom fighters were martyred in the liberation war to build a nondiscriminatory Bangladesh. Rousing the spirit of the liberation war, we have to fight together for building a discrimination-free society- the fight in which the young have to be the leader. At the same time, combined efforts of patriotic democratic power and sincere steps in the arena of state affairs are required to establish the spirit of the liberation war in the real sense.?
