Political liberals and political conservatives are different.? Researchers at the University of Auckland found that conservatives were more polite while liberals were more compassionate.? Liberals had a more sympathetic affiliation with others and conservatives took a more reasoned approach.? Perhaps if conservatives were a little more compassionate and liberals a little more reasoned, we would have fewer congressional gridlocks.
