I am inspired to write this article that came out of our Conversations For Humanity Livestreams that we hosted this week about legacy through leadership.
Here is our conversations with?Sandy Chernoff,?Carla Fedigan,?Melahni Ake,?Jenny Donegan?and?Theresa Carpenter?from our livestreams Share and Care with Sandy and Conversations For Humanity. Here is the link to that replays of our livestreams?Share and Care with Sandy?and?Conversations for Humanity.
What does Legacy Leadership mean and look like to you? Well for me it shows up in this way. When I truly invest time, energy, commitment and show true meaningful value to others, I am giving them something that is far more impactful than any money can do for them. I am building a Field Of Dreams with them. It creates a lifelong impact on them to the extent that they know that not only I have changed their life, but can change everyone's life who I touch and know. It is like what legacy would you like to leave behind for your family.
So has anyone you know lead by Legacy Leadership with you in your workplace, community or at anytime in your life? What significance and impact has this had on you?
Here is three videos that will open your mind and heart to Legacy Leadership.

Change Management and Leadership Development
2 年An on point message in every regard! Absolutely resonates with the manner of which my Legacy aligns with. People are the assets. Leaders "invest in people" not "manage" them. It is with my sincerest hope that the lives I've been fortunate to connect with have been inspired, empowered, encouraged and realize how much they are appreciated as well as loved. Legacy leadership is to me what it means to be "authentic", humble, and transparent with those interacted with. For example, being human, vulnerable, relational, and empathetic with oneself first. First we grow ourselves, then we grow others. This allows the people within scope of influence to let down certain facades, and therefore feel confident to be themselves, to put their best self forward, and be changed from within. We do this together, and together we thrive.
