What a Leader are You Becoming?
LinkedIn Advice board invited me as an expert in Leadership Development Coaching to add insight to this question:
You're bombarded with coaching requests from multiple team members. How do you effectively manage your time?
LinkedIn first used AI to create this following short article:
"When bombarded with coaching requests, it's crucial to manage your time wisely to ensure each team member gets the support they need. Here are some strategies to help:
How do you balance coaching requests in your team?"
Then LinkedIn invited some picked experts, including me, to answer the question, to contribute to its article. LinkedIn also created some other questions with different scenarios related to leadership development. It's called "collaborative articles". I guess LinkedIn is training its AI or Database to be smarter:).
I quickly reviewed other experts' answers, most focus on how to better manage your time, build boundaries, structure your time slots, prioritize requests, ask good questions, have better communications and conversations, cultivate independence and ownership... All good ideas and suggestions.
Here is my brief answer in the above article's comment:
"More important than managing time wisely, empowering the team members to help each other grow together and solve their problems. Mastermind meetings weekly could leverage the whole team and each member to connect better, listen to and understand each other, brainstorm ideas, share resources, solve problems, and support each other to achieve their individual goals and the bigger goals of the team.
You as the leader could be more like a guide and facilitator of the team mastermind, then a coach to those who could be further developed in leadership and delegation, and those who may still need extra help. This way, you will have more time freedom, observation, and lead from the big picture, vision, and direction. "
Leadership is the key to all the initiations and development. Through the years, I have coached and empowered my clients to transform and become affirmative leader, visionary leader, servant leader, efficient leader, purposeful leader, inspiring leader, empowering leader, abundant leader, ... like success and quality in their own definition and belief, to help them fulfill their bigger dreams and visions.
