Yesterday I truly understood the meaning of that…!!

I had heard a lot about Rogerio Branco, (the chief Supply Chain officer of my organization - Eaton Corporation), as a leader … but as I wasn’t working closely with his function till last year, I never got a chance to experience a direct interaction with him so far.

But yesterday was the day!

Got a chance to talk to him and listen to him over a few meetings and more importantly?have a high tea with him along with Cost out community at EIIC where he candidly touched upon multiple facets of life beyond career?like the significance of health, being sincere and true to heart in what we do….,competing with self, importance of health…, frailties of life, ….Inclusion/Diversity in practice…., the art of building trust… his moments of truth with important decisions in career/education ( choosing Engineering Vs. Professional Volley Ball) …,cultural subtleties in US/China/India/Brazil..,?his purpose in life.. significance of mindfulness and emotional wellbeing!!

Oh boy!!.. What a leader!

what a charisma!

what an energy!

What a level of passion!

.... and what a wonderful human being - above all, which matters the most at the end of the day!!

P.S:?Inspired from what Rogerio talked as a parting note in our town hall at EIIC, I decide to quit smoking. Besides, I decide to take proper care of my body and mind, along with my work.

I am doubled upon now to take my mindfulness meditation seriously and develop better self-awareness.?
