What was the last game that changed your perception?
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom should be the hottest game of all time.
Its popularity is reflected not only in the pre-release stealthing, but also in the almost endless enthusiasm and creativity of players. In a few pre-release teasers, Nintendo showed off new features such as "leftover Build" and "Back in Time," as well as a brief demonstration of what Link can do with bonding and going back in time.
After watching the trailer, I, like most players, was blown away by the new gameplay. While these two features may seem simple enough, thanks to the way Nintendo has done it, it's possible to combine most of the items in the game, or use time travel to subtly accomplish things that would otherwise be difficult. In short, in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, imagination is the best guide to experiment and explore.
When the game goes live, you can find exciting new discoveries on almost any community or platform related to the game. It could be a video that tells you The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in interesting detail, or it could just be a video of how you feel while playing.
For Nintendo, this is exactly what they want to see, and for me, while I admire Nintendo's genius, this is a very special experience that disrupts the existing perception of games. I've only had a handful of moments in my gaming career where I've felt that way.

During my primary and secondary school years, The most game-changing games for me are Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. When I saw my cousin manipulating Rexha and Mischa on the computer to cast skills, do tasks and fight, I almost had no resistance to it as a primary school student. I was immediately attracted by all kinds of characters on the screen and the absolutely first-class picture at that time.
From there, I started installing War3 on my home computer and started exploring on my own. The experience of manipulating characters to fight and grow in Warcraft, the strategy of building and operating, and the hard work that goes into making RPG maps not only kept me going, but it was also an experience that I couldn't get from other popular games of my age like bubble House and go-kart racing. Under The influence of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, I began to have a real understanding of video games for the first time. Playing games is not only a matter of money to win, but also a very important part of gameplay and strategy.
With The release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, I'm not only confident that players will have a lot of fun with it, but I'm also hopeful that this great game will become a benchmark and lead to more fun games. After all, we play games to have fun.
I wonder what was the last game you guys played that led to "disruptive cognition"? How did it affect you? Let us know in the comments section.

1 年Red Dead Redemption 2 takes the throne for me. It was beyond what many gamers expected from a game, which is quite challenging to achieve.
