A WVI avian team has just returned from six days in India, where they taught vets, vet students and wildlife rehabilitators about avian medicine and surgery. Working in partnership with local animal NGO, RAKSHA Jaipur, the aim was to improve the prognosis for birds, some of them threatened species, injured by kite-strings during the annual Uttarayan kite-flying festival. ? ? The WVI team was again delighted with the performance of the surgical materials which Securos Surgical has provided for use during the festival for a number of years. Thank you!
