What kind of person are you when under fire?
At the end of the day, are you typically energized? Do you thrive on tough challenges and keep a cool head when adversity strikes? Do you quickly join into the creative process when facing changes that cause you discomfort?
I wasn't always this way, either, until I learned more and more about the power of channeling my energy into having a resilient spirit that says, "I'm okay with life not being perfect, because those are the best lessons of all." I say "who we are under pressure is who we REALLY are!" It is the time to evaluate if we are a victim, if we are angry at the world and seek to blame others, or if we have a heart of peace.
I would love to hear your comments on how you have overcome some of life's toughest challenges, and I will share some of my own as well! Warm regards, Brandie

7 年Without the fire, you may not have the chance to feel. In life we might be in all stage... the fire hurt at first, after you get burned... you experience, and get used to it. Learn to be the fire, and you won't feel burn anymore.

7 年"Who we are under pressure is who we REALLY are"... not entirely true. I honestly believe that who we are under pressure is just showing one side of us, which is as real as us being on vacation and relaxed. The fact that being under pressure has become the "new normal" for many, does not determine our personality.

7 年I think I've learned that life is not fair and we can't view things from that mindset. I know that there will be things outside of my control and stressing over them or trying to fight them will only be a waste. I believe the greater wisdom comes from learning/understanding what you can change and focusing on how your efforts can get you past difficulties - focus on making life better for not just yourself but also for those around you.
