Disrupting Patient Experience - Make a Ruckus That Makes a Difference
The tagline for The PX Community is Make a Ruckus That Makes a Difference.?We are making a ruckus by identifying the opportunities for improvement in healthcare, but just identifying opportunities will not change anything.?Making a difference happens only through action.? We are also taking action.
As you 'listen' on LinkedIn and in other forums, others also identify the need to act, and they are demonstrating their actions.?Some are literally going the extra mile; see Grace Cordova's post below.?
Collectively, there is a call to action around the types of actions we need to take:?rebuild trust, stop blaming and take ownership, embrace love in the workplace, align what we do with what we say, and center on the people – patients, staff, co-workers, ALL. ?How will we do this??By coming together.
Come together to share our thoughts and experience, and then ideate, test, and learn.?As Antonio "Kwame" Agyemang has done, see post below, share the lessons you have learned so that we might all benefit and put what you have learned into our actions. ?
This is the seventh edition of Let's Make a Ruckus.?This bi-weekly newsletter aims to provide you with knowledge, resources, and connections of value that support your work in healthcare.?We will celebrate ruckus makers, introduce you to those doing work that makes a difference, and keep you informed of upcoming opportunities where you can let your voice be heard and make a ruckus.
?Celebrating a Ruckus Maker
I recently shared a conversation with Richard; he is the best kind of Ruckus Maker.?Pragmatic, humorous, and intelligent. You'll understand why I say this when you read his newsletter.

1 年Love this! Thanks for tagging me - it’s good to know I have a community of others who I can turn too that when challenging the #StatusQuo will bring the shade that happens when trying to drive change. For me I’m trying desperately to save the #nursing profession - where #nurses are leaving #healthcare at enormous rates due to a change where #nurses are being criminally prosecuted for mistakes that result from Environment failures - the nurse had no power to change the environment but carries all the responsility when things go wrong.
