What Killed the FROG?

One day in the jungle a man found a frog. He thought, "this is a portion of nice food". So he caught the frog and put him into a large water vessel. Then he put that vessel onto a hearth and started heating.
At the initial stage, the frog didn’t feel anything. But after a while frog felt the water becomes a bit warmer. He felt very comfortable. He was very happy. He thought to himself, "WOW! what a wonderful water pool". He swam up and down in the large water vessel very happily.
But little after he felt warmer. He immediately adjusted his body temperature with the increasing temperature of the water and enjoyed it as usual. The man was keeping on heating the water in the vessel. As the temperature of the water was further increased, the frog kept on adjusting its body temperature and was enjoying it.
Just when the water was about to reach boiling point, and the frog could not adjust anymore. At this point, the frog decided to jump out. But it was too late. The frog tried to jump but it was unable to do so because it has lost all its strength in adjusting to the rising water temperature. Very soon the frog died and became the meal of the man.
My question for you is "what killed the frog?"
If your answer is boiling water, it’s wrong. The correct answer is the frog’s own inability to decide when to jump out.
If you carefully analyze we all face situations like this both in our personal and professional lives.
In professional life
(1) Some people are in bad company. They live their precious hours chatting, gossiping having coffee ignoring their major goals in the organization. They do not know what they do is wrong. Because they get so much entertained. But once they are closer to the deadlines or the targets, they realize what they have done is wrong. But then it is too late. You know the repercussions you have to face in a situation like this. The problem was their inability to decide when to quit their bad company.
(2) If you are really talented and a 'focused employee', but you are surrounded by 'Nay-Sayers', 'Criticizers' and your organization doesn’t appreciate your contribution while you feel there is no growth, you have to think about it and you have to decide on when you have to quit before it becomes too late. Then you feel enormous happiness and relief and you can give your best to another employer who appreciates your knowledge, skills, and talents. But you have to do this before you become a 'rotten person'. Before you become a sick person both mentally and physically.
In personal life
(3) We all have to face problems in our life. We can not avoid the challenges, problems, and dark times. But our capability to endure that pain/difficulty is subjective. level of endurance differs from one person to the other. Some people easily get broken while others can endure. The important point is you have to know when you are going to fall mentally. You should not reach the threshold level. You have to take action before it becomes too late. You have to take action before you get depressed!
(4) You may be a student. You may be an undergraduate or you may a person in a romantic relationship. But, sometimes you may have been in the wrong relationship. As the first step, try your best to correct the mistakes and wrong behaviors from both sides. However even you give your best, even you try your best to keep the relationship up if things are not working you have to take a decision to quit even you do not like it before it becomes too late! Before you get into the marriage have kids and think about it. Otherwise, both you and your partner have to suffer rest of your life. Sometimes your children have to suffer. I give this advice to some of the university students who seek my help
Knowing when to quit before it becomes too late is a sign of maturity. It’s a proactive measure. What are your thoughts?
