Jay walks into the venue as the light was beaming through the clouds so he looked kinda God like as he walked in.
He sat down at the head of the table and I got to sit right next to him, the girls next to me were saying they were pretty nervous. I was pretty calm, Jay has a very down to Earth vibe.
He has a calming manner and is very present. The first question I asked him was if he was joining us in eating... because the food was delicious. He said he never eats before shows.
Jay spent time with each one of us (there was about 10 of us) for a chance to ask him any questions. Since he's doing tour for his show LOVE RULES, all our questions were naturally relationship focus.

"Chemistry makes it start. But Compatibility and Character make it last."
Questions such as is there such thing as monogamy popped up. His view is that most people always want things like it once was, ignoring the fact that people change, and love change.
We want different things, why hold onto a belief that is old or not even what we want?
People feel guilty when they don't put themselves first. But the fact is that when you don't put your own needs first, you are giving others your left over. You are giving others your worse.
So, I leave you with this thought from Jay... "what is the 1 thing that you need to do for yourself today?"
