What jeopardises a good deal?
Everyone reading this must have had that moment where a really good deal is on the table, but for some reason, it just doesn’t close. Dubai is filled with quality buyers and sellers, and yet we have some barriers that prevent potentially good deals from being sealed.
So, what are some of those factors that can badly influence a deal and jeopardise them?
An undue price increase and stressing about top-ups cause pitfalls in the deal. Even if the buyer and seller are ready, some brokers find themselves jeopardising a good deal because of commission fights and benefits. Trained agents know that they have to maintain business decorum while dealing- closing a good deal while delivering the right benefits to both parties includes a great deal of professionalism and acumen and signing a deal that satisfies both parties highlights the quality of your work as an agent.
Misleading about direct or indirect sales and sharing false information, or incomplete property details spreads misinformation. Agents are supposed to act as bridges between the two parties- they should not contribute to the deal-breaking. To share misinformation is to do the exact opposite of what is required of you.
The ideal way to launch or strengthen your career as a broker or agent is to ensure that you have received the right training- go for certification programs like the RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Agency).
Learn what the established guidelines are, and how you can follow them to the best of your abilities- they were created for a purpose!
A deal should be a win-win situation for everybody- so spend time learning and improving your understanding of the market and how to work effectively in it.

4 年I think one reason brokers and agents do that is because they don’t follow the right ethics because of their personal gain. What you said is correct. And one reason a deal fails is lack of good and fair negotiation.
