"IT IS WHAT IT IS!"

Lately; during a conversation with a friend of mine (we were discussing the Hamas / Israel war) he closed our conversation with " It is what it is":

Then it hit me: Is this why global; national matters remain in a permanent statu quo?

Allow me to explain: "It is what it is", is a US say used ro characterize a frustrating situation that a person believes cannot be changed and must be just accepted.

Therefore, if we all think that way about wars, elections, global warming etc. and go back to business as usual, then issues remained unsolved and we are letting down generations to come!

As a society, have we changed for the better or the worse? Let's see:

• Why is there now an awakening of the Palestiniens issue? This has been going on for about 70 years: The fact that Israelis colons which illegally occupied part of Cisjordanie did not hep the peace treaty; it just fuelled Hamas's hatred toward Jews:
• Why do we let Trump act with impunity?
• Why do we let Putin act like a Tsar?
• Why do we let Kim Jun Un' s folly spend billions of Euro while North Korean population can barely eat?I could go on for ever; but i think you see my point.

Now, slowly events are catching up with us . Insurrection is the US; Islamic terrorists in Europe; Immigration out of control; pedophilie and incest out of control.

Have we changed better from our ancestor?

Recently German Poet Heinrich Heine was one asked:

" Why men do not built Cathedrals? ". He replied: " People in these old times had convictions, we modern (us) only have opinions and it need more than a mere opinion to erect a Gothic Cathedral."

Cologne Cathedral took 632 years to complete!

Are we loosing our human's qualities? Such as Honesty; Courage, Bravery, Commitment, Empathy, Conviction; Love one another?

In closing; if we all take one and only one issue and tackle it head on, then we may crack open the issue.

My resolution? Fight Incest all the way up to the Justice system to modifie punitive Laws:
