Bee is the first Web3 mortgage app for consumers looking to impact the $3.1 Trillion dollar mortgage industry with a new mobile experience that's been compared to Uber & Netflix.

"This is mortgage streaming, like Netflix; everyone else is Blockbuster."

Called mortgage streaming by customers, Bee helps home buyers get a mortgage 3x faster than competitors, while utilizing blockchain technology to create a completely automated process, all on your phone. You can learn more about Bee here.

What made us decide to raise equity crowdfunding?

There were two main reasons:

1) We wanted anyone who wanted to to be able to invest, even if it was $100.00. So, equity crowdfunding seemed like a solution to this; and there was no question which site to go with, Wefunder. Part of Bee's mission is to make mortgages more accessible, and equity crowdfunding seemed to mirror that concept for startup investing.

2) We also wanted to gauge consumer response on our app pre-launch. Part of our market validation was the response from our community of investors. Over 1,000 people not only believe in the problem Bee is solving but have put their money on the line!

What have investors said so far?

The response has been overwhelming.

It comes down to being able to communicate the story and showcase why we are the right team. Bee is making mortgages easier and more affordable. The mortgage industry is a huge trillion-dollar industry, and Bee is looking to become a significant disrupter in the space.

Regarding our team, everyone at Bee was kept in either a product or design box at bigger companies, unable to realize their true potential because of current mortgage technology and customer experience limitations. These professionals have had ideas that go overlooked by other companies.

But at Bee, they're loose to realize their design and development freedom. Hiring the right people and showing the investor community their value is essential; luckily, it was easy with our team.

How do we plan to leverage this investor community?

Our goal is to grow Bee into a major player in the mortgage industry. Our investor community produces passionate Bee ambassadors–our moat in some ways, who are loyal and vocal about what we are doing. Word-of-mouth advertising can be the most powerful form of promotion.

What's Next?
