What is an integrated servo motor?
The integrated servo motor, as the name implies, is a servo motor that integrates the motor, encoder, and driver.
The integrated servo motor is a servo system developed based on DC low-voltage power supply, using permanent magnet synchronous motor and FOC drive mode. At the same time, it supports EtherCAT, CANopen, Modbus and other bus control, which has higher integration advantages.
1. Features
1. Using EtherCAT/CANopen protocol (DS402), it can carry out complex multi-axis servo parallel high-speed collaborative control, exquisite and flexible, and can realize small automation of mechanical equipment. The DS402 protocol is a sports specification supported by mainstream drivers and controllers in the world, and has good interchangeability.
2. Wide voltage input (16~52VDC), while battery power supply can be used.
3. Integrated single-turn absolute encoder, zero memory within a limited range; integrated I/O, can be set as positive limit, negative limit, origin, multi-function digital output, pulse input detection.
Provide customizable services to customize the special functions in a variety of sports modes: two-wheel differential drive mode, wheelset slip alarm, etc.
For more function parameters, please see PMM series integrated servo motors.
2. The difference from traditional servo motor
The power supply mode of the integrated servo motor is DC switching power supply or battery; the input voltage range is 16~52VDC, which has more flexible power supply input requirements than traditional servo motors.
The encoder adopts 14bit absolute value encoder and 2500 line incremental encoder.
3. Advantages with traditional servo motors
The integrated servo motor adopts the integrated design of drive + coding + motor + a small amount of cables, which makes the adaptation of the drive and the motor more perfect, saves the matching process between the drive and the motor, and can be deployed quickly without the need for bloated control cabinet design, which reduces The cost.
At the same time, the PMM series integrated servo motor has 4 sets of notch filter parameter settings, which can effectively suppress resonance.
Summarize the characteristics of integrated servo motors:
Compact: highly integrated, saving space and reducing cables
Easy to use: wide voltage input, integrated IO, EtherCAT/CANopen protocol
Low cost: no control cabinet, quick installation and selection, quick matching
