What inspires change!

Making a difference via coaching, mentoring and creating excellence.
Do you remember the last time you decided to change?
Was it something you saw, something you heard, or was it something you felt deep inside?
We all think that change happens because of an external event. The truth is that nothing someone says can make you change.
Let's consider the fact “the sun rises from the eastâ€. However, the scientific fact is that Sun never rises, the earth’s rotation makes it appear as a sunrise. Will this spark an insight.
Insight by definition is “Inâ€-“Sightâ€. It's for us, unique to us and only we understand it in our way.
When you read a book or a message or listen to someone or something, our mind starts interpreting it per our past experiences and beliefs.
Our mind starts trying to make sense of it. If we don’t agree, we ignore it and move on.
Sometimes, we will have “insightsâ€, a knowing, that will cause us to do things differently, cause us to make a priority call, cause us to make a change.
It's so unique and inspiring that we will decide to change, and make efforts, believe in ourselves, and even fight for it.
Insights are our internal motivators, but we forget them easily.
With so much technology around us, the next time you have an insight, record it as text or audio or a picture. Notice how your thinking changes when you see or hear it again.
Isn't that the source of inspiration for change?
