What Inspired Planet Once?

After working in the corporate sector for over 15 years, one thing became clear to me: many employees were struggling. Mental health issues were rising, people were working longer hours, and they simply couldn’t find the time to prioritise themselves.?

What stood out most was how well-being in organisations was often left to internal champions who didn’t always have the skills or resources to make a real impact. It often boiled down to ticking boxes, exercise sessions here, mindfulness there. It wasn’t enough.

I wanted to create something that sat outside the organisation. Something accessible, that empowered people to live their best lives, not just to be productive at work, but to thrive in every aspect of life. That’s where Planet Once comes in.

The vision behind Planet Once I wanted to create a platform, a one-stop shop, that tackled the four fundamental killers around health and wellness: exercise, nutrition, mental health, and accessibility, where people could easily access engaging tools and activities that not only support their well-being but inspire them to keep coming back.

By providing meaningful resources and tracking progress, the platform helps people thrive, both in the workplace and beyond.

Looking Ahead: Impacting organisations and their employees We are not trying to replace existing organisational efforts with additional support. We understand how tight resources can be for organisations. Our aim is to create a platform that consolidates and genuinely supports the well-being of employees.

It’s not a quick fix; it’s about providing a platform that inspires people to be their best selves and thrive. When employees feel supported, they’re more engaged, more creative, and more likely to stay. And that’s how organisations thrive.

Planet Once is a step toward creating workplaces where well-being becomes the foundation for growth, connection and success. By empowering individuals to thrive in every aspect of life, we’re shaping a future where organizations aren’t just surviving but flourishing alongside their people.

The journey has just begun, and I’m excited to see how Planet Once continues to make an impact. What does well-being mean to you and your team? Let’s keep the conversation going.

It sounds intriguing and I’m going to make it a priority to be there
