During a recent interview, I recalled sitting in a meeting room in Basel, Switzerland, with the global Executive Talent Development team of one of the top-3 Pharma companies worldwide. We discussed the new strategies to implement worldwide to accelerate our talent pipeline to meet the high-demanding business needs, commercial speed, and the aggressive product pipeline the corporation had envisioned for the next five years.?

It hadn't been easy to get there, and I enjoyed it and felt grateful, yet I still wasn't complete! How crazy was that?!

Remember asking myself

"Is it OK to ask for more?"

Absolutely!....

Often my Coachees at global and regional positions or country presidents tell me how they sometimes long for something else, of course, grateful; they know they're blessed. Still, there's a deep yearning inside them, a quiet but persistent?call that asks for a more significant and complete impact role or to have more excitement and fun, or even a better balance to enjoy their lifestyle fully.?What about you? What's this voice asking you for?

It may be tangible and pragmatic, like a better role, moving to another industry, landing your dream job, or changing countries. Still it also may be something more subtle and personal, like the work environment, missing the excitement you used to feel some years ago, getting into a start-up or a new challenging project with certainty, or lacking a better fit with corporate culture.

What is this inner voice of yours asking for?
