What is 'Inner Join: A Data Community'?

When I was job searching for my first role as a 'Data Analyst' I wish I'd have more help.

It was confusing, I didn't know much about different areas and it was by luck I landed a job.

Fast forward a few years, I now run a recruitment agency specialising in data & analytics and have created a free community for the person that I used to be.

This is a group for:

• Career-changers navigating switching into data & analytics
• Fresh graduates seeking their first role in the field
• Seasoned veterans looking to remain up to date with skills

The community is all about helping data, analytics, and AI professionals learn, grow and earn together. Whether you're searching for your first data analyst job, starting a freelance side hustle or aiming for that big promotion; we've got you covered.

Why a Community?

I've read the articles getting a job in data & analytics.

I've done the Coursera certificates over a few weeks

I've taken the 6-month data analytics bootcamp intensive

But what really has levelled me up personally and professionally has been connecting with people on a similar path, whether in business or in data.

Today we have an information overload problem. Talking to other people in a community helps everyone sift through and manage the vast about of information available in the world.

At 'Inner Join' we have three pillars:

But, one of the coolest things about our community is the weekly "Careers in Data" call.

Every week, we get live with other community members to discuss the field and your questions can be answered in person.

It's your chance to ask questions, get advice, and learn about the latest trends and opportunities in the industry.

What about the 'Classroom'?

We have a data-career focused classroom for learning, earning and growing. A lot of this content is around the job search, leveraging all the insider information I get as a recruiter in the market. As you use the community you get access to more lessons.
