What to Include in Your Book, Part 2

I mentioned "Book Bonuses" in yesterday's email, and bonuses are a great way to add value to your readership.

Here are a few of my favorites:

• A printable companion workbook or journal. You can also charge for these and use a piece of it as a giveaway.
• A discount code for a course or a coaching session
• Two chapters in another book
• Downloadable worksheets
• Access to videos
• Declarations or Affirmations (or some other aspect of your teachings)
• Chapters or other information that didn't make it into the book
• There are so many! Use your imagination, and put yourself in the place of your reader--what would they love to receive from you?

Google search: "Book Bonuses" and you'll discover bonuses other authors have given away in their books and get many more ideas!

The idea here is to continue the conversation with your reader in a way that adds so much value they will go from reader to fan to super fan . . . because you're awesome and they'll know it! Add a bonus to each chapter, and then have one landing page where they can subscribe and get all of them!
