What I'm reading right now

They say that readers are leaders, and I get asked this question so many times... so I thought I'd share some insights on what I'm reading at the moment (and it's never only one book) - so for today's #SaturdayServing, I'm sharing more insights into what I'm reading and why!

(And no, it won't be as short as you think, as I have the cheeky habit of reading more than one book)

Fix this Next - Mike Michalowicz

I'm a huge fan of Mike's books and found 'Profit first' to be a real game-changer for my understanding and perception of business.

And yet this book is proving to be incredible.

Because it's supporting Entrepreneurs with that 'Don't know what I don't know' feeling and the powerful and targeted FTN assessment really helps to apply the books principles in ones own business.

I spoke about this in the Collective this week as we delved into the fundamentals of business and worked to understand '10 Questions you must need to answer to grow and scale your business'.

The session was truly powerful and well-received and works as an incredible opportunity for the women to get a real sense of clarity and support for their businesses (feel free to DM me for more information on how to join the incredible collective).

Breath - James Nestor

Through completing a recent 90-day nutritional challenge, I became aware of the fact that we do it all the time, and yet we don't do it properly.

We don't breathe effectively for the fullness of our mental or physical health.

This shocked me, and as such I wanted to learn more, and do better!

The book is CHANGING my brain - in so many ways.

I'm able to improve so much about my life through this book's insights and have been sharing more on this recently in my FAB and FEARless Business Booster programme in the days ahead...

Because taking care of you is taking care of business

The Almanack of Naval Ravikat: A guide to Wealth and Happiness - Eric Jorgenson

This book is so fascinating

It was recommended to us by one of my coaches and it's an interesting compilation book of really powerful and interesting insights and information.

I'm really enjoying coming to understand more about this person through the eyes of another person, and I'm enjoying going back to basics in terms of the importance of thinking and skills and what truly matters.

It's a book that I'm reading slowly, but really savouring, as it has real depth and honesty and is proving to be an interesting read. Will keep you posted on how it goes. and my Business Accelerator ladies have been enjoying insights from this book.

The fact is that books give some incredible insights, and a new perspective on so many things... and I'd really encourage you to read. Read more. Read widely. Read for fun. Read for knowledge...

Truly. Reading gives you the best chance to win... so take it, and win!

? What are you reading today?

I’m reading ‘demystifying the female brain’ ….fascinating as you can imagine Yinka Ewuola

Massive fan of reading Yinka - and I still chuckle at your comment about shelf development ??. I’ve just finished No Bullsh*t Leadership by Chris Hirst, and about to start Radical Candor by Kim Scott. Loved the first. Simple and very effective ways to lead well.

Currently reading the Daily Stoic. Each day, there is a nugget that helps me think a little differently. The construct of a daily paragraph appeals and the content supports positive challenge.
