Hello all,
I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start! Good luck to those who are still in school and dealing with finals, you’ll be through them soon!
How good does it feel when someone gives a deep and meaningful thank you for the difference you have made in their life? When they acknowledge what you did for them. Sometimes it can be hard to express deep gratitude because it can show that we are not perfect and need others, but it’s so important to recognize when and how others help us. All parties involved get a great sense of connection and fulfillment from helping each other.
So many people hate their work yet they give so much of their time to it, why is that? If the only reason is your paycheck then it’ll never be enough. We spend way too much of our lives working to hate it. Don’t be afraid to make a change if a change is needed.?

Comparison is the thief of joy. Often we want to be farther ahead and at the next level like the people around us but we don’t think about that some of those people have had years of time and effort that we haven’t. No wonder they are farther ahead of us! If we stick to our goals consistently we can reach the levels of the people that we are looking up to. The key is to focus on your own journey. You are in control of the right inputs and effort that will get you to where you want to be. It also helps to realize that just as you are comparing yourself to people and wanting that next big thing or goal there are also people behind you looking at you the same way. We all need to do more worrying about ourselves rather than wishing we had what someone else had.?
This is a very timely article given that we have just passed all of the Black Friday and cyber Monday deals, many of them seem to just have got an extended with even more “deals” on “things you need.” It’s true you cannot really separate Christmas and consumerism anymore. I would bet every person has experienced stress that has stemmed in someway from shopping and a gift giving. A lot of us get way more into that part of Christmas than we should. This time of year should be about family and memories, not more stuff. Too much shopping creates stress, sucks time, can impact us negatively financially, and will not bring us the satisfaction that advertisements promise.?
Always happy to help in any way I can.?
