As always I am available if anyone could use help with any issues or goals related to work, school, life, etc, or if anyone wants to discuss any of the content and ideas in this article.
Thought of the week: Do not be afraid to ask coworkers or classmates for help. Your desire to learn must be greater than your desire to appear smart or knowledgeable. Better to check and make sure something gets done right than assume you know but then have to spend multiple rounds of time reworking it. We all need help and assistance at times; no one expects you to know it all.?
Quote of the week: “Don’t fear embarrassment, fear living a constrained and false life. If you are rejected for being true to yourself, then you are simply being guided to move on to another level of community.” -Brendon Burchard.?Don’t sacrifice your values and your dreams out of fear of what others will say! It is your life!
Articles for the week:?
Learn interesting points about how the brain functions and how it is programmed to maintain our current self image even if that limits us and even if a lot of that self image is at a subconscious level. This article is unique because it describes how that subconscious image can limit us financially, and how we can overcome that.?

A really beautiful post on how our desire to move past bad moments and cling to good moments unnecessarily causes us stress. The solution is recognizing the temporary nature of everything in life.
This has really great tips for dealing with anything stressful whether that’s an outside event or another person. It includes ideas like asserting that others do not control our thoughts or emotions, having peace from avoiding arguments is often better than being right, peace also comes from accepting things as they are, it’s easy to judge someone but much harder to do the work of trying to understand them, and to try to be aware of when your mind is stuck in a cycle of overthinking.?
