Inspiration for Writing: Road to Santiago

Dear esteemed readers and friends,

This edition is dedicated to the short story: "Inspiration for Writing: Road to Santiago" from my new collection of stories and essays titled: THE UNUSUAL STORY.

Where does inspiration come from? Where to find inspiration for writing? How new ideas are "born"? What moves us to create works of art?

Inspiration can be found everywhere: starting from everyday life events, conversations, professional and private experiences, and travels, to books, movies, music, etc. Sometimes inspiration can come from dreams, shown in symbolic images, full of different messages.

My first works, articles, and books are related to my education and professional training in economics. I graduated from the Faculty of Economics and postgraduate studies, with a master`s and doctorate, in economics. As a doctor of economic sciences, I wrote scientific and professional papers in the field of economics, which I published in domestic and international journals (over 70 papers).

Thanks to my education and many years of professional experience, I have written 11 books in the field of economics. I probably would have continued "that way", but unexpected events happened at work, which was the impetus for me to start writing essays. Furthermore, for me, that was a way to describe phenomena that had far-reaching repercussions on my life, both professionally and privately. At the same time, this is how I found the appropriate artistic form of expression, i.e. "art of creative storytelling", which, I hope, will find a positive response among my readers.
