What I wrote about this week (August 5-11)

I started the week writing about the incredible career path of Kristen Faulkner from Venture Capitalist at Bessemer Venture Partners and Threshold Ventures to winning her gold medal in the #Paris2024 Olympic games in road cycling.

I shared a new fellowship for climate innovators by the Royal Academy of Engineering which is important to share with your networks as it is open to all stages of idea development and could unlock peoples abilities to develop breakthrough innovations

I wrote about the rejection of Wiz of the 谷歌 $23b acquisition offer and what could be the reasoning behind such a strategic decision, and how SoftBank Group Corp. could be involved in that.

I also shared about how tech jobs are shifting to AI and Machine Learning skilled jobs, while more traditional engineering jobs are on the decline, but my view that that will balance over time.

Finally, a series of inspirational posts to think about over the weekend and beyond.
