I was stuck in traffic and a women, walking her dog, caught my eye.
Why??
This lady was probably early/mid 70's at a guess. She had creamy white hair and a spring in her step.?
The day had a touch of autumn, but not cold. ?She was wearing light pink casual trousers a cream fleece sweat top, with blocks of pink. plus pink and cream trainers.?
Why did I notice her… she looked effortlessly co-ordinated. She looked comfortable and dressed for purpose. Also, I'm sure her outfit would have taken her through the rest of her day.?
Now, perhaps this sounds a bit too 'matchy matchy for you, and I'm not suggesting this necessarily as a formula for you. ?
What I am suggesting, is that whatever your day brings, you, get that 'put together' look.
So many times I've been in a wardrobe edit and seen a collection of baggy, saggy, worn out clothes, which are being saved for dog walking or other casual activities.?
Do these items make the wearer feel good? - unlikely!
Did the lady I spotted feel good - absolutely, the light shone out of her as she walked along in her coords.?

Whatever your day holds Alison
Casual clothes do not have to be scruffy?
Most of us save our slightly worn clothes for those more casual activities. However, if the whole of your wardrobe coordinates in terms of colour and what suits you.??
So even when the items get a bit older, or you're trekking into muddy woods, your clothes can still make you feel good.?
