In one of my lubrication audits , I looked into a motor name plate and noticed some very useful information and even a great notice about compatibility issues of offered grease for that motor by OEM.
Later on I studied NTN " 5K " suffix on sealed deep groove ball bearings and noticed great transparency in NTN Bearing Corporation sealed deep groove ball bearings literature.

5K in the suffixed means this bearing is filled by (Kyodo Yushi Multemp SRL)
Reference is below:

Let us look into MULTEMP SRL grease data:
This grease base oil is polyolester + dieseter base which would give the grease filled in the bearing very high grease life and automatically the bearing will be having a long service life
The grease has a service life several times longer than wide-temperature-range greases on the market do, enabling lubrication longer at high temperature. Under general conditions, it realizes significantly long cycles of bearing replacement
Life Performance (ASTM D1741, 125℃) test results of the grease is 4000 hours which for a lithium based grease is great.
I will be looking into changing into and mounting sealed deep groove ball bearings of NTN with 5K in electric motors , pumps, etc because such a fantastic grease filling option...
