Hi Teammate,
?
Welcome to SILI#003!
Happy New Year! I hope you’re doing great.
First, let me apologize for taking such a long break before jumping back into this journey with you. During this time, I’ve had some deep reflections that I’d love to share as we step into February.
?
At the beginning of this year, a thought crossed my mind:
“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
These words sparked a deep analysis for me. What do they truly mean?
?
Well, I discovered that wanting something doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll receive it. What we get in life is often a direct reflection of what happens within us. It’s not just about our desires but also about the thoughts that shape our internal world.
?
A perfect example is Myself:
I took a break from writing because I nurtured the thought that I had nothing to share.
Guess what? That thought made me go blank, procrastinate, and find excuses. What was meant to be a short break eventually turned into months, then an entire year.
Hmmmm…
This was me—someone who had planned out multiple newsletters for 2023 after completing the #20dayslinkedinchallengewithhaoma - Cohort 10. Meanwhile, the challenge was insightful and I recommend it a lot(a discussion for another day). I knew what I ordered (wanted), yet what I got was a full year without a single newsletter.

Many times, we set goals, aspire for success, or seek change, but our results tell a different story. Why?
Because our internal programming—our thought patterns—ultimately dictates our outcomes. This is why two people can engage in the same activities yet produce entirely different results. Their actions may be similar, but their thought processes are unique, influencing what life offers them.
?
Have you ever been surprised by your own reactions in certain situations? That was the same state I found myself. Whether it’s a challenge, an opportunity, or a simple daily decision, our responses are often a direct manifestation of what we’ve been feeding our minds over time. It’s never a coincidence.
?
So, as we navigate the months ahead, let’s be intentional about our thoughts. Join me as we spell out the words O-R-D-E-R-E-D, and align our minds accordingly. What we continuously feed our minds will shape our actions and, eventually, our outcomes.
?
"Cultivate the right mindset, create the life you envision—one intentional thought at a time."
?
Have you ever experienced a ‘What I ordered vs. What I got’ moment in life?
I would love to hear your story too.
?Let’s discuss in the comments!
See you soon.
