What I Learned This Week: Make Your Space
Samantha Gibson
Make an impact where you go, and in doing so the world becomes a better place.
It has been a few weeks since I checked in to share my personal learning lesson of the week. There is no better time than the present to share what I have learned ...right?
The last several weeks our team has truly been gaining momentum AND gaining new clients for life! It is an exciting time for us but it is also bringing some things to the surface. With success comes the need to be flexible with change. EEK!
Change and I go together like oil and vinegar. HOW ABOUT YOU?
We have a National Team that has been learning to be so out of their comfort zone it could cause some to quit. These ladies have had days that quitting or staying in the "old way" would be the easier answer (and no one would blame them) but yet they push through and keep their eyes on the prize. We call it being a #bosslady ! Being a #bosslady does not come easy, it comes with sacrifice but it also comes with great reward. There is a sisterhood that is developed and there are also grunts and laughing along the way.
"What came to the surface?" you may ask...
PRODUCTIVITY lost speed and when productivity loses speed you allow vulnerability to set in. NONE OF THAT in the #bosslady world!
So the three of us agreed to schedule a date and time and make PRODUCTIVITY happen! You see we know "it's happeninggggg!!!!" We are knocking on success' door.
Today at 4pm was THE day. We changed clothes, we mentally prepared over Starbucks to go and began moving and shifting things around. We decluttered, we organized, we took things down and put new ones up. We remained focused and on a mission to make our space more open to allow inspiration to take place!
I learned this week the friendly reminder of creating inspirational space can be mind, soul, and team inspiring! It can allow you to feel a sense of control and ability to breathe again. It gives room for the positive that will continue to take place, and prepares us for tomorrow so that we can be mentally in the game to kick butt and take names!
We are a #bosslady afterall working for a company that supports our efforts and encourages us to keep pushing forward because we want to MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Well I can't wait to share what next week will teach me, but in the meantime I need to turn off the computer to preplan my productivity for tomorrow :)
