What I learned about reviews
WIPA Atlanta recently hosted a panel discussion, moderated by Kirsten Palladino of Equally Wed. Three engaged couples were asked about their weddings: how they selected vendors, their processes, budgets, and what was important to them. One moment that really stood out to me was when all three couples said that when looking for their vendors, venues, and planners, how important reviews are in selecting everything, actually.
My ask: if you have worked with us, or for us, and would like a review, please let us know! Sometimes we get really busy, sometimes we don’t know that people want one, and sometimes it’s about knowing what aspect would be most helpful. Please DM me and tell me what platform you’d like it on; for example, we prefer Google. It helps if your link goes directly to where you’d like the review, and here’s the link we use: https://handy-entertainment.business.site/#testimonials
And then, there was this moment that occurred at the Cobb Energy Centre's 'Sweet 16 Celebration' yesterday, that clarified what this is all about: The photo above shows what my young teacher taught me, and here are his words:
"If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far go together."
