What I learned about Patience in my 40s

What I learned about Patience in my 40s

Life is busy. And not only is it fast-paced, but it's darn right difficult. I spend a majority of my days coaching people and consulting business leaders on efficiency at work and life through communication, compassion, empathy, energy and emotional intelligence.

The more that I coach, the deeper I get to my own realization of why I've been placed here on this earth. Oh, and I've written 6 self-help books based on kind communication that I self-publish and sell directly from my website with small, personalized gifts for readers.

The more that I write, whoah! I really get deep.

So, what does this mean for you as you read this inspirational post about patience? A LOT.

Communication is really a patience game. In fact, it's one of the biggest secrets to being a kind and eloquent speaker and active listener. If you're in a rush, chances are, you're not paying attention. And if you're not paying attention, you're missing the point, or you didn't listen in the first place.

Busy minds create havoc on your emotions. Busy minds forget. Busy minds are irrational and rushed.

What I can tell you about patience in your 40's is that it's a game changer. You THINK you need to get what you want now. You think the world owes you this or that because you've put in the work, but take it from a serial entrepreneur, nothing happens overnight and it all comes together when it's ready. Sorry, not sorry. So if you're pouting today about what you didn't get or what didn't come to you, buck up my friends! Life is waiting for you to change your ... wait for it! ENERGY!!!

When you shift your mindset to ABUNDANCE and focus on what CAN be and what can become... your patience takes the place of rushing and your communication becomes smooth, clear, brief and easy-going rather than a moose running for the hills. Change your energy, create more patience. The journey is long dear ones, don't waste it withering away.

You have another day coming. It'll get done. It'll get better. Take the rushing out of the equation and keep the wishing held high. Your patience will keep you strong, vital and at optimal health, and you'll thank me the next time something magical happens because with patience comes mindfulness and awareness and with those gifts, you can see magic in real time.

Stop rushing and start developing patience. And if you're reading this and you're in your 20s, 30's or 50 plus, this is for you, too! I just wanted to share my age bracket because well, I'm loving the 4th floor of life. Lots of breakthroughs and vulnerabilities that are keeping me alive and healthy thanks to being real with myself at any age.

Have a good one. Take care,

EB
