Hi everyone,
It's my birthday today, and the best time to share some of the learnings I am grateful for and gave me enough courage to share.
2 weeks back CatalystOne Solutions from different places like Oslo, Sweden, Denmark and India united in Norway. The name of this event was DART22, which is derived from our values- Dedication, Agility, Respect, Trust. ?In my conversations you will get to hear a lot about the values and mindset with which we work at CatalystOne. We all are full of zeal and a lot of passion, and we embrace the uniqueness in everyone.
Have you ever seen an organization, where people are appreciated for their uniqueness and encouraged to do more which makes them happy. Yes, we are one of them.
Well, enough of the cherries, I am here to share what I have learned in this trip that changed my perspective on big level.
Diversity- Collaborating people from diversity at one place that with a simple schedule and following the same is a big thing. But with our leaders and everyone we managed it well. Now call it structuring or the process but managing a group of almost 200 people all together takes a fine business. I’d say keeping the things transparent did ease the process and of course it makes sense when you have the clarity of short – long term goals.

A clear vision- In the beginning, it’s always important to have a clear vision for our future path. No matter what but having a mentor to showcase the right path and leaders with vision who are willing to give you constructive criticism is the best thing that can happen with you.
Become a morning person- The hours in the morning become precious. The day holds the business you traveled for, and it’s usually followed by a rush to clean-up and head to dinner with colleagues- ending the day late and exhausted. If there’s something you must do that day, you’ll learn to get up, attend the meetings all pumped up, enjoy all the attractions and prepare for the next day ahead.
Fun makes everyone feel human- Of course it’s never all work and no play. Work travel can restore a human element to an otherwise professional relationship and a trip away brings co-workers and clients together in a unique environment. The craziness of travel is something you can both commiserate over while you celebrate with your clients and co-workers. At the end of the day, everyone is ready to switch gears. Sometimes to dinner and drinks, sometimes to a rocking night out. It’s outings like these that turn our business peers into friends.
I am glad to be part of this cheerful memory with the learnings I have gathered, which I will embrace in my ?? always.
Thank you, I appreciate your time for reading!
