What I learned in July
Craig Davis
I write really good LinkedIn comments ?? | Currently looking for a new Customer Success Associate role (DM me)
July was an interesting month with a lot of lessons to learn.
Here are three lessons I learned this month:
Lesson #1: Be available and ready.
Yesterday at 3:55pm EST, I received a voice message from a connection who used the LinkedIn mobile app.
We had a nice back and forth about life, LinkedIn, and goals.?
There will be times when you have to be ready to be available.
For your network, for your friends, for your family.
Be there in the good times and in the bad.
Lesson #2: Begin or continue to be a beginner.
At some point in life, you share what you know with someone new.
My posts recently talked about comments and how it's hard to stand out.
You have to pull back the curtain and give back.
Focus on the basics first before you get advanced.
It's not easy to put yourself out there.
I know how it feels.?
If you don't put yourself out there, how can you learn any lessons?
There is joy when you become a beginner.
Continue to learn, no matter what age or stage you are in.
Lesson #3: Help older and younger generations, no matter what.
Chat with someone older or younger than you.
I spoke to my 8-year-old cousin and she loves Disney princesses.
All princesses.
She is also studying measurements in school.
I gave feedback on the presentation in the Men's retreat to a Baby Boomer.
No matter what generation you are in, help and be of service.
They will thank you.

2 年Great takeaways Craig Davis. Love the beginner mindset ?? I focused on always shifting perspective, and in doing so we see people, the world and more differently, and that can lead to doors opening, and us growing in ways never imagined. Here’s to August - let’s make it a great one ??
