What I learned about growing up in the late 20's

The previous years have taught me different things about life and growth, and I would like to share with you one of them.

"A man with outward courage dares to die; a man with inner courage deserves to live" -Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching

At the dawn of 2022, I caught CoVID-19, and I thought it would be a breeze because I know I am physically healthy. After that followed challenges that go beyond physical health.

This time, I have learned to become courageous from the inside by becoming calm, letting go of worries; and, giving all the love.

"We fear to love, not for the fear of loving, but the fear of rejection." -Anonymous

Since we are on the topic of growing and love, I also learned a different kind of love this year. Something that inspires us to become better as a professional. I learned how to make use of what is important to you, that serve as motivation to become a better person. This might be what they call "true love" and it was both tiring, yet rewarding process.

Tiring because such love requires you to push yourself to your utmost limit, example, your true love for your children, or your parents, or even K-Pop idols strives you to work hard. Rewarding because not only you satisfy your need for belongingness, it also leads you to becoming a better person. Recently, I learned from my partner is that "my newfound life's motivation is to love [her]".

But sometimes, we fear of doing great things because of rejection of your love. From previous pain and trauma, our bodies programmed us to protect our ego from emotional pain.

And it's okay. We learn to be emotionally courageous, from the inside, to love ourselves fully, and then love others wholeheartedly.

From that love, we are equipped to take on life's most difficult challenges, because we know they are worth it, ? you are worth of the love you give.
