What I Learned from the Lack of Education and Support in General

A while back my daughter came home from middle school and told me that I was part of the mandatory reading curriculum.

Had you told me ten years ago that I would be considered required reading for American / Californian students, I would have laughed so hard.

Just over 20 years ago, I was scrubbing toilets and studying math I hadn’t touched since the fourth grade.

I am honored to be featured - and be in company with Senator Amy Klobuchar in "Nevertheless, We Persisted". Ben Horowitz once said that while technological advances have significantly lowered the financial barriers to starting a company, the courage required to build a truly great one remains as high as ever. I take pride in being a brave and resilient individual, ready to face ALL challenges ahead.

In this powerful collection, Amy (foreword) and others shares the stories of remarkable leaders who have faced hard challenges head-on and emerged as leaders in their fields. It’s a testament to the strength and resilience we can find within ourselves and in each other.

This life journey of mine has shown me the incredible impact that LACK of education, guidance, and mentorship can have. As we navigate our own paths, let’s always remember to lift others and pave the way for future generations of leaders.
